The Glass House Mountains were formed by volcanic activity millions of years ago, and the 11 peaks are all that remain of the ancient volcanoes. The tallest peak is Mount Beerwah at 556 meters, and other notable peaks include Mount Tibrogargan and Mount Beerwah.The Glass House Mountains are a designated national park and are dotted with campsites, picnic areas, and walking tracks.
