Concordia Eco-Resort is one of our top Eco Resort options in ST John USVI.
If you only looked at the ratings, this resort is perhaps not the first resort you would seek out in the Caribbean. 2.5 stars on TripAdvisor is not the best of the best. But sometimes ECO resorts don’t do exceptionally well in the mainstream rating systems, and Concordia Eco-Resort does have some credentials that do make it attractive for guests seeking an eco-friendly vacation. Many people don’t like compostable toilets, solar showers, and a lack of aircon, but if you are willing to look past these luxuries this sure does even the playing field and make this lodge look a lot more attractive.

On the bright side, you will find enough attractions and facilities to make life comfortable, like an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. There are even options to include a kitchenette, the resort is secluded, and the place is looked after well.
Then if you are looking for a place close to nature with opportunities for hiking on the eastern coast
and the national park beaches, you may like to consider it again. You could even pick up some
Snorkel gear if you are willing to trek down the hike to get to the beach. The 25 glamping tents situated on this pristine location have been further glamped-up further since recent hurricane damage. There are also some cool tree houses too.
If you do stay here it is likely more about the destination, however.
If it all seems like a bit too much risk, stuck on an island and all, you may like to check out some treehouse resorts and rainforest lodges in Costa Rica for example.
